Rolling cargoes are all cargoes with wheels; from cars up to large dumptrucks. Cars can often be stuffed into or onto containers, while larger verhicles will fall in the Awkward cargo category. Lorry’s, agricultural and roadbuilding equipment can often be loaded onto Flat Rack containers or as conventional breakbulk on a regular liner service.
Next to container, there are also options to ship your rolling material onto a Roll-on/Roll-off ship (RoRo) or as breakbulk onto a general cargo ship (Lift-on/Lift-off, LoLo). With this method of shipping, your cargo does not to be loaded into or onto containers and you only pay for the space your cargo occupies on board the ship.
